Clear PETG Sheet

Clear PETG Sheet is a highly transparent engineering plastic, belonging to the new generation of environmentally friendly plastics.
Main characteristics of PETG:
1. Outstanding thermoforming performance
Clear PETG Sheet is easy to produce products with complex shapes and large stretch ratios. Unlike PC sheets and impact-modified acrylics, this sheet does not need to be pre-dried before thermoforming. Compared with PC sheets or acrylics, it has a short molding cycle, low temperature, and higher yield rate.
2. Toughness
Clear PETG Sheet is usually 15 to 20 times tougher than general acrylic and 5 to 10 times tougher than impact-modified acrylic. PETG sheet has sufficient bearing capacity during processing, transportation and use, and is not easy to break.
3. Weather resistance
PETG sheet provides excellent weather resistance. It can maintain the toughness of the product and prevent yellowing. It contains UV absorbers and can be co-extruded into a protective layer to protect the sheet from the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays.
4. Easy processing
PETG sheet can be sawed, die-cut, drilled, punched, sheared, riveted, milled and cold-bent without breaking. Minor scratches on the surface can be removed with a hot air gun. Solvent bonding is also a common operation. It is easier to process than general acrylic, impact-modified acrylic or PC board, and can be processed by flocking, electroplating, electrostatic treatment, etc.
5. Excellent chemical resistance
PETG sheet can withstand many chemicals and common cleaning agents.
6. Environmental protection
PETG sheet substrates are all environmentally friendly materials and meet food contact management requirements.
